About this warehouse relocation plan
A warehouse move has to keep orders flowing. This plan builds out the new site first (layout, racking, systems), then moves stock in phases, and only hands the old building back after the new one is shipping reliably.
Durations assume a single mid-sized warehouse. Add rows for each move wave if you transfer in several stages.
Who it's for: Operations managers, logistics leads and 3PL project managers.
How to use it

- Plan your waves. Split the move rows into waves by product group or zone.
- Protect peak season. Shift the move so it doesn't land on your busiest weeks.
- Share. Send a read-only link to carriers and the landlord.
Planning tips
- Move slow-moving stock first so the busy lines move last and fastest.
- Count inventory before and after the move.
- Keep the old site available until the new one has run cleanly for a while.
