About this office move plan
Office moves are often paced by internet and network installation, which can take weeks to provision. This plan starts the circuit order early and keeps it visible.
It fits a small or mid-size office moving to one new location.
Who it's for: Office managers, operations leads and IT managers.
How to use it
- Open the plan. Click Open in the editor.
- Start the circuit order early. Unlink the internet install and start it as soon as the lease is signed. In the task panel, remove the predecessor, then set the new start date. Then check that the task that came next still lists the earlier work as a predecessor, so delays keep cascading.
- Set the move date. Set the first task's start date, then adjust durations until move weekend lands on your planned date.
- Share with staff. Share a read-only link so everyone knows packing and move dates.
Planning tips
- Ask your provider for the circuit install lead time before you pick a move date.
- Label everything by seat number from the space plan.
- Keep the old office handover date in the plan; leases often specify it.
